Let's face it, ChatGPT logos and flyers are getting a LOT of backlash. What once was a fun tool is now a big no-no if you want your marketing to be taken seriously and to be considered "original content" by the algorithm.

I've had an influx of clients with smaller budgets who have used ChatGPT for their logos. They like them, but need some help making the concepts feel less AI-generated so that they are taken seriously by potential customers.

Pro Tip: ChatGPT does not give you all the file types and resolutions that you will need when using your files for large and small scale.

Never fear, designers are still here.

Here is a before and after of a logo that I cleaned up for a client. The After version doesn't have that telltale AI look, but still has the look and feel that they liked from the original concept.

This mark was a ton of fun as we got to step away from the clean, predictable look and create some more hand-drawn style graphics for the imagery. The result is bright, friendly, summery, and ✨ refreshing. ✨

Your brand's logo MUST work in a single-color format.

When you create a new logo for your business, you need to make sure that it works in a single color.

Single-color logos are clean, scalable, and recognizable from a distance. They work well in small-format (business cards, embroidery, and printed swag) and are generally less costly to produce from a printing standpoint.

Ensuring that your logo mark will also work in a single-color format will help prevent the addition of unnecessary elements that water down your design.

Be careful to get too literal and decorative with your logo or it won't translate well when it comes time to hit the printer!

Really excited to share the new brand identity we built for ENDESOL SCADA.

They work in industrial water treatment, and when they came to us for a full branding package, we knew the look had to reflect the weight of what they do: Infrastructure that actually matters.

We worked through several concepts together before landing on this one. I incorporated the tanks that they use daily into the A in a way that is memorable, modern, and simple enough to use across all of their marketing collateral.
