A year ago, we had the opportunity to present "Big D(esign) Energy" for AMA Baltimore.
Looking back, it's remarkable how much our industry has changed in just 12 months:
• AI has moved from experiment to everyday tool.
• Content creation has accelerated.
• The volume of marketing competing for attention has exploded.
Yet the biggest lesson from the past year may be that the fundamentals matter more than ever. The brands breaking through aren't necessarily the ones with the most tools, the most content, or the biggest budgets.
They're the ones with the clearest strategy, the strongest point of view, and the deepest understanding of their audience. As marketers, it's easy to get distracted by what's new. The challenge is remembering what still works.
We're grateful for opportunities to share what we've learned, learn from other marketers, and contribute to the conversations shaping our industry.
Thanks again to AMA Baltimore for having us.
What do you think has changed the most in marketing over the last year?
