In light of the Washington Nationals World Series Championship victory last night; I thought I'd share this recent logo design I re-imagined for my barber Ruben Soriano (ig: ) of Whoskie's Barbershop in South El Monte, CA.

The premise was to employ the iconic "W" of the center of the Washington Nationals logo and mold fonts to work with and around the "W," as-well-as use the same color scheme as it's predecessor.

The "W" is also used as a common counter-culture reference to "West Side," or "West Coast," most famously popularized by Westside Connection and other Hip-Hop artist of the time. This, in conjunction with the name of "Whoskies Barbershop," makes for an amalgamation of similar tastes and shared design livery.
