Systems Solutions

Systems Solutions Kentucky's premiere IT partner for 35 years. Managed IT, Cybersecurity, IT Consulting & Cloud Services protecting 5,000+ endpoints across KY, TN, MO, IL & IN.

Systems Solutions was founded in 1985. As was the model in the late nineteen eighties, Systems Solutions had a retail storefront that served as a place for home and small business walk-in customers to gather information and shop for software, supplies, and computer accessories. While these programs were made available to the general public, the company’s primary focus and core business was based upon industrial and commercial clients. All of the support and service offerings, both from a national and local perspective, were geared to these types of accounts. In 1992, Systems Solutions recognized that the company’s future success was tied directly to the ability to provide quality support services to the commercial client base that had been developed over the years. To that end, Systems Solutions closed its retail operations in June of 1996 to focus on the commercial client base and the specific technology support requirements for those clients. Now

Systems Solutions is the largest provider of commercial network consulting, design, implementation management and network support in the region, offering a full portfolio of Managed Services products and services to the small and medium size business community. Systems Solutions is recognized as a viable partner for companies with multiple locations due to the technical expertise of its personnel and the professional manner in which its management and staff handle complex projects and large-scale product rollouts. These are designs that require the vision and project management for which Systems Solutions has become known. In 2010, Systems Solutions moved into new corporate offices with a state of the art data center in Paducah/McCracken County’s Commerce Park. Why do so many businesses depend on Systems Solutions for IT service and support:

Systems Solutions of Paducah is the key partner for Microsoft in the region. Because of the outstanding work they provide to their customers, they have earned tremendous loyalty over the years, and I count on them to take care of our joint customers. Over the course of their business and working with customers in the area, Systems Solutions of Paducah has elevated themselves to Microsoft’s VAR Champion Club, which recognizes Microsoft Value-Added Resellers for the quality work they do to maintain a strong partnership, not only with Microsoft, but with their customers as well. Systems Solutions is the ONLY partner in the region who has earned that distinction. This should help potential customers feel at ease that they are working with true professionals who fully understand Microsoft products and solutions. As the territory manager for Microsoft in this geography, I’m very comfortable recommending Systems Solutions of Paducah as Microsoft’s primary “go to” solutions provider partner in the region. As Cybersecurity Awareness Month wraps up, here's a gap we see often: cyber insurance carriers are asking harder questions before they'll write a policy.

MFA, endpoint detection, employee training, and documented backups aren't bonus points anymore; they're the baseline.

If it's been a while since you reviewed your policy requirements, now's a good time.

Need help closing the gaps? Let's talk.

Scammers love this time of year. Fake shipping notices, "HR policy update" emails, and urgent gift card requests all spike in the weeks around Halloween.

If an email is trying to rush you into acting fast, that's the trick. Pause, verify, and report it before it costs you.

Give your team a refresher before the tricks start.

Week Four of Cybersecurity Awareness Month is about making security part of how a business runs, not something bolted on after the fact.

That means security training as part of onboarding, secure defaults on every new device and app, and treating cybersecurity as everyone's job, not just IT's.

Does your business already operate that way, or is it still an afterthought?

Let's build security into how you work.

A compromised laptop gets locked off your network before your team even notices something's wrong. That's automated containment doing its job, no analyst required to pull the plug.

The catch: that speed only helps if the incident response plan behind it can keep up. A lot of plans were written for a world where "minutes to respond" counted as fast. AI-driven threats don't wait around for a war-room meeting.

Does your incident response plan account for threats that move at AI speed?

Let's stress-test your response plan.

An auditor asks what security framework your business follows. If the honest answer is "we don't really have one," you're not alone, but you're also not covered.

Today is World Standards Day, the global nod to the standards that keep technology safe and trustworthy. In cybersecurity, that means frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and SOC 2.

They're not a checkbox. They're the blueprint for security that actually holds up.

Where does your organization stand against them?

Let's find out where the gaps are.

Two things line up today: it's Patch Tuesday, so Microsoft's monthly round of security updates is rolling out, and it's also the UN's International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction.

This year's theme is "Resilience Starts at Home," and honestly, it applies just as well to your network.

Patch your systems, and make sure your backup and disaster recovery plan is more than a document sitting in a drawer.

Let's put your recovery plan to the test.

Week Two of Cybersecurity Awareness Month is about phishing, and the scams keep getting harder to spot.

Fake invoices, "urgent" account alerts, spoofed emails that look like they came from your own CEO. They all work the same way: get you to click before you think.

The fix isn't complicated. Slow down, check the sender's address, and report anything that feels off.

When's the last time your team ran through phishing training?

Let's test their instincts.
