As most of you know , the power is out in cartersville. Our sites are up on battery backup if you are running generator. Power company is working on resolving the tree on power line issue on cartersville rd . Hopefully soon .

Tonight at 11pm, we will make a frequency change on the copper creek west AP. This will affect 19 customers only. It shouldn’t take long to do and we are waiting till late so service is disrupted minimum. Just giving everyone a heads up in case you’re down for a couple minutes. Thanks

There will be a maintenance window on May 13 at 12:01 AM till 6 AM for 120 minutes for a operating system update from our upstream provider. These updates usually don’t take that long but I want to give everybody a heads up that it will be coming. I will post again once it gets closer.

On may 13th from 12:01 am till 6am our upstream provider will be doing a maintenance window for two hours to upgrade the operating system of the equipment and the Internet will be off-line during those periods. even though they have 120 minute window , it usually doesn’t take that long . Just want to give everybody a heads up and I will post it again once it gets closer.

There was a power outage today in Cartersville in Harmons Lick that apparently caused the surge in the power system and I’ve had a few customers complain that the routers are not online. If you unplugged your routers for one minute and then plug back up, it should sink up and be fine. If not, just send me a message and let me know

We had an outage tonight caused by an unannounced change from our upstream provider. If we had known ahead of time, this issue could have been avoided.

I apologize for the downtime — I know it’s frustrating and appreciate everyone’s patience.

We work hard to provide the best service possible, and I’ve already spoken with our upstream provider to make sure we’re notified of any future changes. They’re normally very good about this, and we don’t expect a repeat of tonight’s issue.

We are having issues with our upstream provider and currently on phone with tech support . I cannot respond to your phone calls and text right now . Please be patient while we diagnose

The customers on the copper creek tower east sector which includes calico , gabbard rd area and copper creek, I am showing an issue on the radio and need to reboot it . It will just take seconds to do. Just letting everyone know.

Good evening everyone!!
I hope everyone is ready for the weather coming.
Just wanted to remind everyone that snow on your wireless dishes should not impede your internet connection and everything should work fine. If we get light icing it should still be ok. If we do get a lot of ice on the dishes as well as our tower components , it is possible that it could cause disruption with signals . We have had this before and everything still worked fine so hope for the best that we get snow only .. Just a reminder DO NOT BEAT ANY ICE OFF YOUR ANTENNA !!! It could break it or knock it out of alignment. You can take a broom if needed and wipe snow off it . If we have tower issues , we will probably have to wait till ice is clear before we can get to it . But let’s all pray that the weather gods get us through this safely. Everyone stay safe and if you need anything please don’t hesitate to reach out .
Also the fire station will be providing a warming station if anyone’s power is out . You will need to contact Garrard EMA or 911 if you need help .
