New Scam:
Calls being made from "Microsoft Refund Department", claiming that a 3 year subscription for maintenance has automatically been renewed and charged to your credit card for $399.99..
They will ask that you confirm the cancellation, then request your credit card information, and, no doubt, charge you $399.99 at least.
To repeat: MICROSOFT WILL NEVER CALL YOU FOR ANY REASON. This is yet another scam. Do NOT divulge any information.
When they called me, I just said I don't own a computer and they hung up immediately.

Being a technician and advisor on "Scams", I beg and implore my customers and friends alike, please call ME FIRST!!!, before making a phone call to the "predatory", - "Microsoft" - representative. To Note: MICROSOFT WILL NEVER CALL YOU, NOR WILL THEY CHARGE YOU FOR A FIX!!.

Once you make a call AND ESPECIALLY, let them take control of your computer, is WHEN you get hijacked.

No worries: Trust me when I say, the "bother" will be WAY bigger for both of us, unless you call me first. My very good friend Arlene, can attest to that. - as of today :)

I would MUCH prefer the "bother" of a simple phone-call for a quick advice, than the tedious and lengthy repairs needed after

I went shopping this December to acquire the latest IPad Aiir. Since I tend to be inquisitive. I ended up spending quite some time shopping. After much contemplation, I settled on the ASUS tablet/laptop. $100,00 less expensive, yet much more versatile and, as such, useful. IPad has much promotion and popularity, however, not the versatility I would expect and desire for even money
