When I first moved to the desert, I was helping my 89 yr. I love all things techie and really enjoyed being able to help. My mom said she was sure there were a lot of people in the valley that could really use my help, so I decided to start a tutoring service. It turns out that she was right. Almost everyone I talk to has something they want help with. I love computer tutoring and I’ve been having a great time. It’s so rewarding to see the joy and relief when people are able to get over the little obstacles and start to enjoy the many benefits of modern technology. I’ve also been working with a lot of business people who know how to use some programs, but have missed some of the neat things they can do. I’ve been able to show them special features and shortcuts that make their work so much easier. I also teach people how to use their new gadgets like iPads and smart phones. Sometimes it just takes one session to get a jump start and they are “good to go” on their own. I’ve had some unusual requests that were fun also. I took photos for a client and posted them on match.com and I’ve helped people record messages on their answering machines. I’ve also shared e-marketing tips with realtors and set up blog websites for small business owners. It might be fun to do a class for a small group in someone’s home, clubhouse or office. If you are all at the same level, it can be a lot of fun to learn together. Private Tutoring is only $60 hr. and you can learn a lot in a small amount of time when it's one-on-one. Class rates vary by class size and content. For more information or to make an appointment, just give me a call at
