We’ve been burning both ends of the candle over here at Threaded Merch.

Running presses nonstop, knocking out merch orders, while simultaneously building out full product programs that are landing in big box retailers. Real brand building behind the scenes.

Because of the volume, we had to skip our usual Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day deals this year. Just too much motion to slow down.

But we’re still showing love.

On top of that, we’ve kept the showroom closed so we can stay locked in on online orders while balancing out bandwidth across multiple product lines. We’re deep in development on ProGrade, CargoLoc, the new Boson brand, and projects with Channel Lock, continuing to design and push these products into major retailers and big box stores.

Next stop is the National Hardware Show in Vegas. Concept to Commerce. We’ll be debuting new products and making moves.

A lot of plates spinning right now, but we’re built for it. And we’re just getting started.

Also keeping it real, with tariff hikes and rising ink costs tied to oil prices, things are getting tighter across the board. We’re doing everything we can to keep pricing solid wherever possible.

Back in the early 2000’s, I struggled with the cracking and feel of DTG prints using the digital white ink. I didn’t like the hand feel it has and the white ink printheads would always go bad. I loved how DTG felt just like screen printed water based discharge inks and wondered if I could only replace the white dtg underbase with waterbased discharge ink I would have an amazing product. I have a strong industrial design background and began to build my own internal system to marry the water based screen printing process to the DtG process and in 2012 I started doing Hybrid-DTG. No one knew what the hell I was talking about. Today in 2026, the last 3-4 years, manufactures have slowly been building larger systems that offer this process. Why go through all this, because these combined methods create literally the softest prints on the market. 🤘

Wrapping up Day 2 at the 2025 SEMA Show! 🔥🏁

This isn’t your run of the mill local pop up or craft fair, this is the industry major leagues and its all serious business to exhibit here, for the major industry players. Many people “attend” and browse but the real ones are the exhibitors and this show is Massive! Massive deals are opened up her the exposure to your automotive relative industry will be seen by thousands upon thousands around the globe. 🌎 so we had to be locked in! 🔐

Massive shoutout to the Allied Team, our Manufacturing Partners, and the Category Buyers from major retail chains who opened the doors for these new products to hit shelves soon. 🚀

This journey has been straight-up wild building this brand from the ground up, sketching designs, mocking up concepts, 3D printing samples, and creating prototypes in-house at my Threaded Merch lab. From late-night CAD work to sourcing with our international partners (even through all the tariff and import chaos this year), it’s been all gas, no brakes.

And this isn’t some “side hustle at home” — this is the real deal. Owning a commercial HQ, running multiple businesses at full scale, and betting my own dime to keep creating rad things. That’s why I built my studio — to always have a place where I can “create rad things in my lab.” ⚙️💡

25 years deep, still growing, still learning, and still grateful. A lot of people talk about it online but we’ve got decades of consistent receipts to prove we actually live this. 🧾🤘

Vegas, we made it! 🔥
Touched down early for the 2025 SEMA Show & AAPEX, and it’s go time. We will be here all week exhibiting for the SEMA Show. 🤘🏁🏁🏁🏎️

It’s been a crazy grind to get here, months of designing, prototyping, and building out the new CargoLoc product line from scratch. From concept to CAD, industrial design to packaging, 3D-printed samples, R&D, sourcing the right factories, and running through production, every piece of this was built with precision and hustle.

We’ve been deep in meetings with big box and retail club buyers behind the scenes, now it’s showtime. 🏁
Landed at 7am, went straight to the convention center, unpacked crates, set up the booth, and dialed in every detail till late. No breaks, just that creator mode energy.

Wrapped up the night with the team power dinner with buyers, our top Chinese manufacturer, and sales reps who help make all this happen from across the pond in China, Taiwan, and India. ✈️

Fully charged. Adrenaline on max.🤘🤘🤘

Getting everything locked in for AAPEX & SEMA has been a wild ride. Months of late nights, endless meetings, and nonstop creative energy — all leading up to this massive launch. Every product went through the full process: from ideation and 3D CAD design to product samples, packaging design, and full-scale production. Now, those ideas are turning into real automotive products hitting big box retail shelves. 🔥

We’ve been deep in product development for major brands while also pushing our own house lines into the retail market. Containers are rolling out, and it’s all coming together just in time for Vegas.

We even put our screen printing side of the business on pause for a few weeks to focus fully on kicking off this big product program launch. We’ll start taking new printed merch orders again after the SEMA / AAPEX show and a much-needed post-show vacation. Starting November 20th — we’re back to ink slinging and ready for new merch runs!

It’s been a crazy busy year of creating, grinding, and building and for these New Automotive Brand Products, we’re just getting started. Super pumped for what’s next. 🏁💥 Next Stop SEMA / AAPEX Las Vegas!
