I recently had the pleasure of working with Michelle Curry of Achenbach and Curry to freshen up their branding as they move to a new location. The project began with a request to create a simple sign for the new building. It evolved into a new logo design, business card, and freshening up of a previously existing ad layout to match the business card design.
The logo is an abstract representation of a pile of books, ledgers, and paper. These items would have been essential for CPA firms in the days before technology evolved to where it is today. The logo has an electronic feel to showcase the modern tools used in accounting, but it also evokes a feeling of experience and knowledge as it calls back to the history of accounting.
The best part of working on this project was knowing how happy Michelle Curry was with her projects when they were complete.
