POD Exchange POD Exchange handles the secure delivery of copyrighted artwork files directly to those with wide format printing capabilities.

Back in 2011 during a visit with a manufacturer of Framed Art, we spoke of the wide format printer they had which was getting very little production time as well as a room with over 1 million dollars in unusable stock of paper prints that were purchased from various publishers. The conversation led to the question "Wouldn't it be great if the publishers would let us print the images right here in

our facility instead of shipping them to us?" With a 2 hour plane ride, a borrowed pen, and the back of a "airsick" bag, POD Exchange began to take shape. Being a publisher myself, I knew the concerns of copyright violations and set out to design a system that would be mindful of the misuse of images while making it relatively simple for customers to license, download, and print those images on their own printers. This was the point where POD Exchange was born. Now we have customers all over the world taking advantage of our system and saving all of the freight and logistics of getting the images from the Publishers.
