For the next little while, DO NOT RUN Windows 11 Optional Updates. There is a bug in the update called KB5043145.

This is not a critical update, and should not be pushed to your computer automatically. It will cause a Blue or Green "Screen of Death after a reboot. It can be problematic to uninstall. Microsoft is working on a fix. Feel free to contact me if you have any issues as always.

Just wanted to put a bug out there, to remind people not to click on spam text links, or respond to unknown messages. It just adds you to their bulk mailing list, and puts you at risk of infecting your device, or giving out sensitive personal information (as well as sending the same spam messages to your contact list).

You can copy the body of the message and forward it to 7726 (SPAM) with most cellular carriers, for them to evaluate and block some of the senders.
Be safe and smart out there.

And call CompuTech if you feel like you have been hacked, or just have a question about any IT products and services.
