I’m proud of many things I have accomplished in my business but this is one of the top accomplishments. When Carol Roop @ the Belhaven Chamber of Commerce reached out to me last year asking if I could design the layout and essentially put the book together- I had never created a book, let alone a visitor’s guide layout. So, because I have a hard time using the word “no” 🫣 I said “sure” instead!
I proceeded to buy the appropriate program, taught myself the program and after a LOT of hours, stress, aggravation, deleting and restarting 3 times, adding the verbiage and photos, designing the layout and telling Carol many times to NEVER ask me to do this again… I present to you the 2026-2027 Belhaven Visitors Guide and Directory. You can pick it up in over 100 locations, including Visitor Centers across NC and places around Belhaven.

I’ve had requests for hats recently with custom patches so I figured I’d share on here in case others are interested. Hats will be $20-$25.
These are just some of the patch options as well as non-structured ladies hat options! I can get any hat style you want. Structured (like the Richardson brand) , non-structured (like pictured), ponytail hats (I’ll post in comments) and visors. I can create any patch, design, shape and size!

2025 was such an amazing year and I have each of you to thank for that and 2026 is starting off that way as well.

I know I haven't posted online as much and it has to do with several things that I'll point out since I've had some questions recently about it.

First, I have been having bad headaches and eventually turning into migraines over the past few months and a lot of tension in my neck and back and I have narrowed down the problem to my screen time. Decreasing the time I am on my computer and phone has been so good for me, physically and mentally.

Second, I have taken this month to recoup from the holiday rush, restocking, getting to orders that could wait until after the holidays, etc. and spending some much needed time with my hubby and kids. Time goes by too fast!

Lastly, on top of all of that - my business has come to a point that it is self-sufficient without pushing social media. Yay me! I get orders by phone, emails and referrals from past customers that aren't even connected with my social media! (insert happy dance)

That doesn't mean I have forgotten everyone. That reminds me that I haven't gotten around to posting Christmas gifts I made for customers either. (adding to TO DO list now) I have a few ideas coming for my VIPs (so make sure you join the group) like a Mystery Tee and Mystery Crewneck Sale that will be announced soon once I organize I few more things in the shop. So please don't turn off those notifications... stay tuned to what I have in store for all of you in 2026!

I hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving and enjoying time with friends and family, reflecting on life now and times when others were here on earth to celebrate with us!

As I sit here in my shop overflowing with Gods answered prayers, I am thankful for my customers, far and wide. I have almost filled my US Map of places I have shipped and as of yesterday I get to include CANADA!

With that being said, tomorrow is Small Business Saturday, and Monday is Cyber Monday! I will be posting items I have that are RTS (ready-to-ship/pick up) to hopefully help make your holiday shopping even easier!

I had several people asking about Christmas deadlines for orders! December 10th will be my deadline as usual but it would be great to go ahead and get them in now so I won’t be rushing close to the end and get to spend time with my family!
