Ever read something at work and think:

Why is this written like a legal puzzle?

A lot of business writing is not hard because the topic is hard.
It is hard because the wording is.

That is why this is such a practical Copilot tip.

Drop in the paragraph, email, report, or policy and ask Copilot to explain it in simpler terms.

It is a smart way to make technical, dense, or overly formal writing easier for your team to understand and actually use.

Because if people have to read it three times, it probably needs to be rewritten once.

A feature list is not the same thing as a product description.

But a lot of teams still start there.

They have the bullets.
They know what the product does.
They just need help turning it into something clear, usable, and not painfully generic.

That is a smart Copilot use case.

Give Copilot the feature list and ask it to turn that into a product description draft your team can actually work with.

Less blank-page staring.
Less “just make this sound better.”
Faster first draft.

Most teams collect customer feedback.

Far fewer actually pull insight from it.

Because once the feedback starts coming in from surveys, emails, forms, and support tickets, it becomes one more pile of information nobody has time to sort through properly.

That is where Microsoft Copilot can help.

Ask it to review the feedback and pull out the patterns: what customers keep mentioning, where concerns repeat, and what trends are starting to show up.

Because “we got a lot of feedback” is not useful.

“Here is what customers keep telling us” is.

Midway through day two of GLC, and I didn’t expect this to be the thing that stood out most — but it is.

There are 2,000 entrepreneurs in Dublin right now, and you don’t just see it in the sessions. You see it everywhere.

Walk into any pub and you’ll find them — EO members, local founders, people from all over the world — pulled into real conversations. No agenda, no surface-level small talk. Just smart, honest, interesting discussions.

It’s been fun to watch traveling entrepreneurs and locals here in Ireland mix so naturally. Different perspectives, different experiences — and somehow it just works.

And honestly, some of the best parts of this week aren’t happening in the sessions.

They’re happening in the pubs.

I’m not a beer drinker, but I’ll give it to them — Guinness does taste better here. But it’s not really about the beer.

It’s the environment.

No TVs.
No constant news cycle.
No one half-engaged while scrolling their phone.

People are actually present. Talking. Listening. Connecting.

Back home, it feels like every bar is competing for attention — screens everywhere, noise everywhere. And most of the time, people are looking anywhere but at each other.

Here, a pub is actually what it’s supposed to be — a place to connect.

Makes you wonder what would happen if we stopped designing for distraction… and started making more space for real conversation again.

This landed on one of our team member's calendars this week.

Looks like a payment confirmation, right?

Look closer.

It's a phishing calendar invite, dressed up as an ACH payment notice.

The goal? Get you to click that link before your brain catches up.

Here's how to spot it:
• You weren't expecting this meeting
• The link leads to a sketchy third-party URL
• It arrived at 3AM from an unrecognized sender

Our team caught it. Deleted it. Reported it.

That's the win. ✅

Cybercriminals aren't just in your inbox anymore, they're on your calendar.

Stay sharp. Question everything. Always check the link before you click.

You finished the email.

And now you are stuck on the subject line.

Again.

That tiny line at the top somehow becomes the hardest part of the whole thing.

This is a very real Microsoft Copilot use case: ask it to suggest subject lines based on your email, your audience, and the tone you want.

So instead of typing, deleting, retyping, and settling for “Monthly Update,” you start with stronger options right away.

Small task.
Big time drain.
Very fixable.

One meeting.
One set of notes.
But not one language.

For businesses with diverse international teams, that can become a real problem fast.

If meeting notes only work for part of the team, clarity starts to break down. And once that happens, mistakes, missed follow-ups, and confusion are not far behind.

A practical way to use Microsoft Copilot?
Ask it to translate your meeting notes into the languages your team actually uses.

That means:

✅ better alignment across international teams
✅ clearer communication after meetings
✅ fewer misunderstandings on next steps
✅ more inclusive collaboration

It is a small step that can make a big difference when your team is spread across locations, languages, and time zones.

Luck is fun. It is a terrible IT strategy.

St. Patrick’s Day is a good reminder of something we see all the time in business IT:

A lot of companies are still relying on luck more than they realize.

Hoping the backup works.
Hoping someone catches the phishing email.
Hoping no one clicks the wrong link.
Hoping systems stay up during a busy week.

That is not a plan.

The businesses that stay protected usually are not the luckiest ones. They are the ones with the right protections in place:

MFA
Tested backups
Strong email security
Regular updates
A team that knows what to look for

A little luck never hurts.

But solid IT and security practices do a lot more.

What is one part of your IT setup you would rather not leave up to chance?

03/13/2026

Meeting ends.
Notes are everywhere.
And now someone has to turn that mess into slides.

This is one of the easiest Microsoft Copilot wins to understand.

Drop your meeting notes into Copilot in PowerPoint and ask it to build a first draft of the presentation for you.

That means:

less time staring at a blank deck
less copy-pasting from notes
faster updates for your team or leadership

You still review and refine it, of course. But getting the structure started is usually the hardest part.

Copilot helps you skip that part.
