Sometimes the “normal” way just isn’t the best way.

The continuous hinge wasn’t letting these bi-fold cabinet doors fold back and sit the way we wanted, so we changed the hardware and kept dialing them in.

Now both sets open, fold, and stack exactly like they’re supposed to.

So close to seeing these faux beams lit up.

The new MLINK fixtures are installed, and the 4-way circuit and dimmer are wired and ready to go BUT, we’re just missing one small piece—the splice adapters that link the fixtures together.

Once we get those adapters, we can finish connecting everything and finally light these beams up.

Good as new!
The customer called to report that the ceiling in their garage collapsed onto the garage door. New drywall was installed and textured to seamlessly match the existing finish.

The backsplash tile is officially on site, which means we’ve got another finish ready to start going into this kitchen.

This one has been a long time coming.

Another corner of this kitchen dialed in. Clean reveals, tight clearances, and every door and drawer opens exactly like it should without fighting the hardware next to it.

It’s hard to beat it when everything lands just right.

A little prep now saves a lot of crawling around later.

We’re cutting and fitting all of the quarter round first, then pulling it back out to paint before installation. Once it’s installed, all that’s left is filling the nail holes and touching up the small areas that need it.

Cleaner process, less paint around the new floors, and a lot less time spent painting trim from our knees.

The payoff for getting the layout right months ago.

The electrical was already roughed in when we built these board and batten walls, so we laid out and built the trim around the existing receptacle locations with the finished product in mind.

Now we’re at electrical trim-out, and everything fits exactly like it was supposed to—the receptacles, faceplates, and board and batten all come together with clean, consistent reveals.

Plan it right early so you don’t have to fight it later.

Two projects. Two more things checked off the list.

At our bathroom rebuild, new insulation is installed above the repaired ceiling and we’re continuing to put everything back together.

Then over at the big remodel, we’re working through the punch list and finally got the ductwork installed for the custom kitchen range hood.

Different jobs. Same goal—keep moving them toward the finish line.
