For all those with kids using Chromebooks for home school - most chromebooks are NOT made for streaming videos for 10 - 12 hours at a time - they will fry! In the past 2 days I have had 14 clients who's children have fried their chromebooks - PLEASE if the Chromebook is for School, only use it for School - it is important that our children can continue their education.

Still using Windows 7? Support for Windows 7 is ending. After January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7. Now is the time to consider upgrading. If your computer is running Windows 7, there is a good chance it can be upgraded to Windows 10. The time to plan is now, don't wait until the last minute!

Pensacola - Be prepared - if you own a business, make sure you have full computer backups of your critical files, and if you are closing your office tomorrow, we highly recommend turning off and unplugging computers and servers (don't forget to unplug lan cables). This way, the computers are safe from any kind of electrical issues that are so common with this kind of bad storm. If you are a home user, make sure you have backups of your important personal documents, and it's always a good idea to take pictures of your property and belongings in case of loss.

Pensacola - Before updating to the latest Windows 10 - BACK UP YOUR DOCUMENTS, PICTURES, AND DESKTOP - there is a bug in the latest release which could delete these files when you upgrade - always be safe and BACKUP BEFORE UPDATING!

Pensacola - Windows 10 Users info: The anual Fall Update for Windows 10 is now live - this is one of the big Windows updates which actually replaces your current version of Windows 10 with the latest updated version. The new version number is 1809 and will be rolling out over the next couple of weeks. As with any Windows update, if it goes to a black screen and doesnt seem to be doing anything, whatever you do, DO NOT TURN IT OFF - let it complete. These updates can sometimes take hours depending on your Windows setup. If you have questions or need help with an update, give us a call today!
