A little sneak peek from a home I shared a bit of a while back for Bridget with UnBoxed, and trust me, this one deserves another moment.

Bridget designed this house pretty much top to bottom, and between a pretty cool homeowner, a pretty incredible space, and rooms full of light, texture, and layers, it was an absolute DREAM to photograph.

For now, I’m only sharing some of the wide-angle shots because this was a big project with so much to take in. I’ll be back with the detail shots because every angle, every finish, every little layer felt like its own piece of art.

It’s seriously gorgeous, and I have a feeling this one will be popping up more and more over time because I keep going back to look at it. ✨

Baby Louise came into the studio at just 2 weeks old for the sweetest newborn photos, and she was every bit as perfect as you’d imagine.

Her mom had seen a recent newborn session I did for a friend and loved it enough to reach out, come in, and trust me with documenting the very beginning of their own little story. And honestly? That is the best.

There is something so special about watching new parents love their baby. Louise’s mom and dad are already so deeply smitten with her, and it was the sweetest thing to witness as they settle into this new chapter together.

Welcome to the world, sweet Louise. You are clearly so loved!

Early morning graduation post for Alexa because this one deserves a moment. 🎓

Alexa just officially graduated from NDSU, and when she was asked what she wanted to do to commemorate the milestone, she said photos!

That is my kind of girl.

In 20 years of photography, I’ve never photographed a cap and gown session like this, and I am so glad I got to jump in on this trend. I love that this generation sees the value in documenting the big things while they’re happening — not just someday looking back, but right now, in the middle of becoming who they’re meant to be.

The hard work, the late nights, the early morning exams, the proud moments, the personality, the favorite drink that helped fuel the whole thing — it all gets to be part of the story.

And yes, we absolutely took a few photos with her favorite Alani flavor, because sometimes the little things that got you through deserve a spotlight too!

Alexa, congratulations on such a huge milestone! You made it look so good.

A few minutes with my daughters’ softball team in the morning sunshine was a pretty perfect way to start a Friday. ☀️

They needed a team picture as they head into playoffs, but of course we had to grab a few fun ones too, because when you have a group of girls and a camera… why not?

It has been so fun watching my own girls play my favorite sport. Some of my best high school memories happened right on this same field, so seeing them get to play together some this year has been pretty special.

Go Eagles! 🥎 Thanks for always being such a fun group of athletes and humans. Good luck in playoffs!
