๐ญ As Earth Day comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on how deeply important and impactful our natural world isโฆ and how this day can be celebrated all the time. ๐ (Side note: I havenโt done a monthly reflection in a while, so today feels like a perfect day for one. Also, please excuse the planting clutter in the first photo ๐
just trying to get the plants and my shirt in the picture)
๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ I began the day with a chilly sunrise yoga session at Shamrock Park. It was a great way to awaken the senses while listening to the birds chirping away. Seriously, it sounded like they already had several cups of coffee by 6 am.
๐ชด Iโve been propagating my spider plants and giving the spiderettes (thatโs really what theyโre called!) away in a local plant swap Facebook group. These types of plants are great for air purification. Not pictured: two tree seedlings that we currently have in pots, soon to be planted outside
๐ณ Now that the weather is getting warmer, Iโve been making a point to get outside a lot more. Last Friday I took a walk in the woods to end the work week, and Iโm hoping to incorporate this routine more often. ๐
๐ Our patch of 4-leaf clovers returned to the yard, even after mowing. This is really exciting not just because they keep coming back, but also because (if you know me well), Iโve always been one to look for and find them.
๐ผ๏ธ Artworks from over the years inspired by nature
Our Monstera/Swiss Cheese Plant is now long enough to wrap around the shadow box! ๐
๐ธ The final photo here is from last weekendโs spring celebration at The Harford Glen. There were several nature-based organizations present, and we shared our pledges to protect the watershed!
Happy Earth Day, every day! ๐๐ฅฐ
