Plenty of good company, a few shots worth remembering, and a Closest to the Pin win for our own Rachel. 🏆

A project built for game day, and for what comes next.

The July-August issue of Production360 takes a closer look at HuskerVision’s move to an ST 2110-based production environment at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, supporting productions across multiple venues and sports.

Brock Raum, BeckTV senior engineer and head of HuskerVision’s video project, was part of the upgrade that included three new full control rooms at Memorial Stadium and a new approach to the video infrastructure.

The story gets into the technology behind the upgrade, the flexibility HuskerVision was looking for, and how the environment gives students hands-on experience with tools they may encounter in their broadcast careers.

Where were you in 1994?

Gene Strickland was just beginning what would become a 32-year career at BeckTV.

As Gene retires, we thank him for decades of dedication and contributions to our console team and the BeckTV legacy. Odds are, if you've sat behind a BeckTV console, it was probably built by Gene. His knowledge, craftsmanship, and steady approach have left a lasting impact on both our team and the projects he helped bring to life.

Thirty-two years, countless projects, and one very impressive beard later, Gene is heading into a well-earned retirement.

Happy retirement, Gene.
