One project. Seven venues. A lot of moving pieces.

The latest issue of SCN features a closer look at the work happening at HuskerVision and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as they continue building for the future of college sports production.

Michael Grotticelli highlights the project and the collaboration between BeckTV, Lawo, and the HuskerVision team. The piece also includes insights from Brock Raum, BeckTV's senior engineer, who led the integration team responsible for the equipment and systems buildout.

The wait is over.

Good luck to all the teams, crews, and organizations helping bring the World Cup to life this week. Events at this scale take a lot of work behind the scenes, and it's always impressive to see it all come together. BeckTV is proud to support the people and projects that help make it happen.

Here's to a great tournament and a memorable few weeks ahead.

The cables got smaller. The challenges didn't.

In his latest piece for TV Tech, Brendan Cline looks at what changed as broadcast facilities moved to IP. The physical infrastructure may look simpler, but the complexity now lives in configuration, timing, discovery, security, and the relationship between engineering and IT.

A practical perspective on the realities of modern broadcast infrastructure.

Getting people off the couch takes more than just a good game.

In this piece from TV Tech, Matt Weiss shares how venues are using interactive tech and immersive audio to change the in-venue experience. From gamified fan engagement to systems that make every seat feel like the best one in the building, expectations are shifting fast.

It’s not just about production anymore. It’s about creating an environment fans want to be part of.

Little pregame before NAB.

Matt Weiss is headed to the SVG Chairman’s Forum April 16 to 18 at Green Valley Ranch to catch up with the people moving sports production forward.

No panels, no pitch. Just talking shop, hearing what everyone’s seeing, and comparing notes before things get rolling in Vegas.

We’ve also got something new in the works. Ask us about BeckFlow!

Not everything behind the scenes should be this hard to manage.

BeckFlow is designed to simplify how teams document, visualize, and manage broadcast infrastructure. From automated schematics to centralized project organization, it brings structure to systems that have historically been hard to track and maintain.

It’s a practical shift toward more scalable, connected workflows.
