Cashless payments are becoming the norm worldwide. In Sweden, for example, bus drivers don’t even accept cash — only cards or mobile payments.

Ukraine is also moving confidently in this direction. Many cities have already introduced e-tickets, bank card payments on transport, and mobile apps for easy transactions.

But there are still challenges:
💰 Some people still trust cash more than digital payments.
📶 Not all areas have stable internet for payment terminals.
📊 Some transport operators are reluctant to give up “shadow” payments.

On the one hand, cashless payments save passengers time, make the system more transparent, and improve convenience. On the other, transitioning to digital payments requires infrastructure upgrades and public adaptation.
