Here's a chance for you, our faithful clients, to discover what our fearless leader does on his days when he closes the studio a few times a year. Screen printing posters for charity, teaching and rekindling the passion for print has been an adventure I'll always cherish. Thanks to the immeasurable Rick Roth, the Ink Kitchen crew and Impressions Expo & Magazine for trusting me with the squeegies! I look forward to making some posters, new friends and more memories down by the sea-shore!

The Ink Kitchen will be screen printing limited-edition posters for charity at the 2026 Impressions Expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It’s hard to put into words what Devilfish Ink has meant to me since I started it in 1997. What started as a way to make money doing what i love, has brought so much to my life that can’t be quantified by bank statements.

The smile on this talented, hard-working woman’s face is one of those things. Kaylie Minzola started interning with me as a young illustrator at Moore in 2018 and like a few before her, I recognized something in her that stood out amongst the others. When I needed to hire a new assistant, I reached out again and was happy to bring her back. “Happy “ does not convey my feelings now 5 years later as she ventures out into a new life…I feel honored.

Honored to have shared a portion of my life and creative journey with someone who helped and supported me and Devilfish far beyond the confines of daily tasks. Talent is important in this industry, as well as life, but most things can be learned and honed with practice and study. Work-ethic is also learned and valuable in life, but the ultimate trifecta is achieved by also mastering motivation which manifests into a confidence that is spectacular to witness. Kaylie proved herself to be the embodiment of that ideal, and perhaps not just to me but to herself as well.

It is always difficult to say goodbye to a cherished employee, but I am so very proud to have shared my knowledge, my livelihood and a portion of my life with Kaylie as she uproots her’s to chase a new adventure thousands of miles away. A distance that is only mirrored by how much I have watched you grow over our years together. Not just as an illustrator or a printer (I remember telling my wife how proud I was to see you add /screen-printer to your bio ) but as someone who can tackle any task with the grace and confidence of a force to be reckoned with. In lieu of good luck,Kaylie, I wish you good times! Luck is for suckers who hope something good happens, good times are savored by those who strive to push themselves outside of comfort in search of their best life!

Thank you for not only assisting me with client’s work, but for encouraging and help implementing my next vision for Devilfish Ink version 28.0. Your presence will be felt in my studio for years-the mark of an outstanding influence-aka the best Assistant Art Monkey a guy like me could be blessed with… i can only hope our paths cross again a third time! I truly wish only the best for you and a lifetime full of long lasting smiles!

I didn’t title the presentation, but sometimes you can trust what you read on the internet! Hopefully I’ll be joining the Ink Kitchen at the Impressions Expo in Fort Worth later this year. I wonder what they will pick me brain about then!

Always read the fine print. Stealing content to feed AI is bad enough but looks like they can even sell your work for profit and cut out the creator. I’m no lawyer but nope nope and nope.
