June 23rd, 1971 - Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Rick Wise threw a no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds and hit two home runs in the exact same game. This remains the only time in Major League Baseball history that a pitcher has slugged multiple home runs while throwing a no-hitter.

June 21st, 1964 - Jim Bunning pitched the seventh perfect game in Major League Baseball history, leading the Philadelphia Phillies to a 6–0 victory over the New York Mets. It was the first regular-season perfect game in the National League since 1880, and the first regular-season perfect game in MLB overall since 1922. Bunning, a father of 7, accomplished the feat on Father's Day in 90-degree heat during the first game of a doubleheader at Shea Stadium.

June 11th, 1985 - June 11th, 1985 - The Phillies set franchise records for runs (26), hits (27), and total bases (45) during an absolute rout of the Mets, 26-7. Von Hayes became the first in MLB history to hit two home runs in the first inning of the same game, with one of them being a grand slam.
