🔥 Stainless Steel Gas Container, Germany

This project focused on the structural redesign of an existing stainless steel gas container to increase its operating temperature from 380 °C to 514 °C.

Using RFEM for advanced structural analysis, the feasibility study evaluated stability, stress, and strain behavior under self-weight, temperature effects, and internal pressure conditions. Nonlinear material behavior and second-order analysis were considered to ensure structural safety and reliability at elevated temperatures.

The final design, verified according to Eurocode 3, confirmed that the structure could safely withstand the increased thermal demands.

🏗️Structural model : Continuous Casting Plant Extension

A complex industrial retrofit project at the JSW Steel ,SPAT steelworks in India, successfully delivered by Ing. Büro Mauss using RFEM 6

The upgrade required precise seismic retrofitting and seamless integration into the existing facility. To achieve maximum accuracy, the structure was captured using 3D laser scanning technology and imported into the model as a detailed point cloud.

Based on this digital baseline, the structural analysis and steel design were performed according to Eurocode 3. 🏗️
