Cactus blooms in Phoenix between now and early June. I have not seen any cactus blooms this year yet but these are some of my favorites from previous years. The bees are in the yellow bloom of a Prickly Pear cactus.

Thank you Arizona Highways for selecting my photo for the Friday Foto 'insect' themed collection today. This precious bee was very busy pollinating on the purple flowers of the rosemary bush in my backyard in north Phoenix.

Love my Arizona wild flowers.
Remembering the beauty of Arizona wildflowers after a wet winter with significant rain in previous years. Since we did not have significant rain this winter, we did not have wide spread wild flowers this year.

Again last night there were spectacular sunset views from my backyard. First, we noticed the beautiful golden light shining on the birds in the tree in the east from the golden light of sunset in the west.
