We are thrilled to announce that Austin Tidmore recently joined SmartRent as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Data and AI!

Bringing extensive expertise scaling cloud, data and AI initiatives for commercial organizations, Austin previously served as Vice President of Data and AI at Everforth, alongside executive leadership roles at PLACE, Inc. and Apex Systems. Throughout his career, he has a proven track record of establishing enterprise data governance frameworks, guiding data product strategy and embedding agentic AI into revenue-driving workflows.

In his role as SVP of Enterprise Data and AI, Austin leads our enterprise data platform engineering, analytics and AI functions. He is responsible for scaling our platform to embed real-time data workflows, predictive analytics and responsible AI directly into our products and operational decision-making as SmartRent approaches one million installed IoT units.

By combining his deep enterprise expertise with the immense talent inside SmartRent, we are positioning our platform for its next major leap in technical capabilities and market leadership.

The month of July brought one intense competition - a Mario Kart tournament.

Each Thursday in the month our team members got together and raced with the speed increasing each week. Our top three players breaked for bananas, dodged shells and drifted their way into first, second and third place.
