Who’s looking after the software underneath your website?

PHP powers platforms including WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento / Adobe Commerce, Drupal, and Joomla. Its October 21 security release addressed two critical vulnerabilities. Patches are available, and your hosting provider may already have applied them.

Updating a plugin doesn’t update PHP. Ask your host to confirm your patch status—and check how long your PHP version will remain supported.

Running PHP 8.2? Official security support ends December 31, 2026. Plan a tested upgrade, including backups and checks of your checkout and integrations.
