As a former CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), I was honored to have the opportunity to design CASA Camden County's annual report. The eight-page report is created for both print and web use. The publications objective is to create awareness of CASA and encourage greater community involvement. idesign communications researched and found the cover quote, matched it with cover image and followed CASA’s style guide for color and font use. https://idesigncommunications.com/portfolio/casa-camden-county-annual-report/

...and Purpose in Life by Ward Allan Yont is the story of a man serving a life sentence for a murder he committed in 1993 while under the influence of methamphetamine. I read the book on summer vacation and designed the cover shortly thereafter. The window and light suggest a jail cell while the typography visually tells the story of starting out somewhat normal, then shrinking down to the bottom - murder and life sentence - and then growing again to find God and purpose in life. The Forward is by Marianne Williamson, a politician for the Democratic nomination for the 2020 United States presidential election and a New York Times bestselling author. Wrap-up (post 4) – all 3 logos were to work together, so in creating a tastefully designed donor package, the images would compliment each other. The donor package consists of 4 pocket sized inserts and one larger insert on the center inside. The folder is roughly 6 x 9 and sealed with a the Partners Creating Community logo. The inserts represent each enterprise and a donation form. idesign collaborated with Denise Martin, writer for non-profit organizations. Post 3 – a new logo for Heart Stone Coffee, another local not-for-profit enterprise supported by Partners Creating Community. By employing a diverse staff and by attracting local talent to participate in creative programming, Heart Stone Coffee is fast becoming a community center where all residents of the surrounding area can come together. Peter Mike-Mayer explained the new logo should be light and happy and that Heart Stone Coffee is a foundation for the way of the heart. Next up (post 2) – a new logo for Green Lion Breads, one of the not-for-profit enterprises supported by Partners Creating Community. Green Lion Breads is a local micro-bakery dedicated to sourcing local and regional whole grains that are organically grown. The baker, Mark Doberenz explained that the original logo, depicting the Alchemical Symbol of the Green Lion Devouring the Sun, represents transformation. The new logo was to be more easily understood resulting in a green lion face with mane and sun, one in the same, conveying transformation, and typography suggesting the ancient craft of baking bread.
