Two-fer showing off Tyler Pursel’s Custom Shop ‘59 Strat and the modded Princeton. Killer combo, straight-into-amp sweetness. Switching out the NFB and the tonal shift from re-voicing the low end made this amp breakup so smooth and dynamic, exactly what the goal was for this. And the strat is just ✨perfect✨.

Ripping it with this pre-Lux Plus build I did for Kevin Fulmer back in 2019. A sonic glimpse of the path that led to the Lux Plus/Lux Plus Verb designs. Some stuff was a keeper, others not so much. But s**t this thing rips. Playing my Sonic Empress THC straight in, channels jumped at about 1 o’clock on tone and volume controls.

Digging the small speaker in a big cab sound with this 60s Gretsch Model 6152. Playing my Justy Cakes or Crusty Justy if you prefer Sonic Empress THC straight-in. That TedWeberSpeakers 8F125T sounds so much fuller than most 8”s I’ve tried, great for amps like this if you have the room for the large magnet.

Despite the recent (and well-deserved) Fender hate, I’ve inadvertently had a tele spring/summer on the repair bench. This is the latest, a Deluxe that needed a switch and a whole re-do of the electronics. Back in action now.

Rig is the Warm Audio Warmdrive, then later stacking my StrangeFace Fuzz, into a Lux Plus Verb. Tasty.

Loving this Love My Switches | Guitar pedal parts & DIY Purple Mirage sparkle powder coat enclosure for this StrangeMaster Boost. I have one more available in this color, as well as a larger enclosure for the StrangeFace Fuzz.

Playing that Bigsby-equipped yellow Strat, and cranking the boost into the bright channel of the Lux Plus Verb.

Next Lux Plus Verb will be extra special.
