The overall objective of this position is to develop relationships with potential customers of Anchor Graphics, source and monitor new opportunities, develop proposals and close new sales. This position will deliver sales of Anchor Graphics services which meet or exceed customer and industry standards. Activities involve interaction among customers, with Sales Manager, production schedulers and all members of the Anchor Graphics staff, as necessary. • Develops personal sales plans to achieve sales targets and quotas.

• Visits assigned customers, as required and approved.

• Prospects for new customers (“hunting”) and sells new orders for all Anchor Graphics services. This includes cold calling.

• Works with existing customers (“farming”), Sales Manager and production scheduler, as required, to resolve problems, introduce new products and services as may be applicable, assist in the marketing of theirbusiness, suggest value engineering options to grow profits, and build relationships.

• Prepares quotations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and profitability in accordance with company procedures and goals.

• Achieves target gross profit on sales orders.

• Communicates orders to Sales Manager, and, when necessary or directed by Sales Manager, production scheduler.

• Coordinates with Sales Manager and to assure customer specifications, needs and lead times are achieved.

• Reviews with Sales Manager any special, nonstandard orders.

• Develops pricing for special services for approval by ownership/Sales Manager.

• Turns in completed call reports, bid logs and expense reports on a timely basis as directed.

• Updates customer records to reflect changes to customers' names, addresses, etc.

• Adds new customers to appropriate communications lists.

• Attends sales training seminars when and as directed.

• Acts as a public relations liaison for the company advising management when customers bring problems to his/her attention.

• Seek and maintain knowledge and awareness of current issues, needs, trends, theories and research.

• Other sales related duties that may be assigned.

Their main duties include troubleshooting machines for any malfunctions or irregularities, fixing machine parts as needed to ensure they operate properly and conducting quality checks on the machines.

E. Work effectively with others in a teamwork environment to assist in the development of business goals and their achievement. Influence team members and peers to achieve team goals while maintaining constructive relationships. Also, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
F. Able to adapt behavior to different people and situations. Being flexible by adjusting interpersonal approaches appropriate to managers and co-workers.
G. Upbeat attitude.
H. Demonstrate integrity, honesty.
I. Proficient computer skills and ability to read and interpret artwork provided by customers.
J. Ability to use Anchor Graphics Pricing Matrices items, and sales activity reporting systems.
