It’s summer. And for neurodivergent kids, water can feel like a magnet 💦🧲

The light, the movement, the pressure, the sensory regulation - there’s a reason water can be so deeply appealing. And as a BCBA and autism mom, I also know how scary that can feel for parents and caregivers.

That’s why our upcoming AngelSense LIVE panel is going deeper into water safety for autistic children: why the risks can look different, how to build layers of protection, what to do if a child is missing, and how families and communities can prepare before an emergency happens.

We’ll also share practical tips AngelSense families can use right away, like setting boundaries around nearby bodies of water, creating safe water play at home, and making sure trusted neighbors and caregivers know how to help.

Link to register is in the bio, and even if you can’t join live, you’ll get the recording. 💚

Some creators don’t just share their life.
They make other families feel less alone. 💕

Jalesa Jamison, known to so many as Dallas’s mom, has built a beautiful space by sharing the real moments of life with Dallas - the good, the hard, the heartwarming, and everything in between.
Through her honesty, calm, faith, advocacy, and unconditional love, she reminds families navigating special needs parenting that they are seen, supported, and not walking this road alone.
We’re especially moved by the way Jalesa joins Dallas in her world, celebrates her fully, and shows what love looks like in everyday moments.

That’s why we’re so grateful she chose AngelSense as part of Dallas’s safety and independence routine.
Because supporting our children’s freedom doesn’t mean letting go of safety.

It means finding tools that help them experience more of the world, with more peace of mind for the people who love them most.
Thank you, Jalesa, for letting us be part of Dallas’s journey. 🙏

What happens when clinicians truly listen to families?🧑‍⚕️

That’s the question Yagnesh Vadgama was answering in this clip from our webinar, ״What Do You Want Your Clinician to Know?״ and his response stayed with us.

Yagnesh is a BCBA by training, VP of Payer Strategy at CentralReach, a parent of three, and has spent over two decades in the ABA field, including years working with health plans around ABA benefits.

His reminder is powerful:
A clinic session is only one part of a child’s life.

Families are navigating the school mornings, dinner-time transitions, safety concerns, bedtime routines, and all the real-life moments in between.

Real support starts by listening to the family, and it has to work where life actually happens.

Comment FAMILY and we’ll send you the link to watch the full live session.

Overstimulation, oversimplified 🧠

Did this help explain why autistic and neurodivergent individuals can be more prone to overwhelm?

As a BCBA and autism mom, this is one of the things I always come back to: overstimulation isn’t “overreacting.” Sometimes, the brain is taking in more input than it can filter in that moment.

And when we understand the why, we can respond with more compassion, and support the nervous system before things escalate.

I’ve been diving deeper into topics like this for years inside our AngelSense Guardians Helping Guardians community, where I offer BCBA-backed support and real-life guidance for AngelSense families.

Come join me there 🤗

What does “priceless reassurance” look like for an autism parent?

For Dr. Faith Spoonmore, it’s knowing she has one more way to support her child’s safety, whether he’s at school, therapy, or out in the community.

As a physical therapist, autism mom, and trusted voice for families navigating autism, Faith understands how much safety, connection, and independence matter.

In this video, she shares how AngelSense helps families stay connected with real-time location, alerts, and two-way calling when it matters most.

And what do clinicians wish families knew?

That’s exactly the conversation we’re opening up in our upcoming webinar: What Do You Want Your Clinician to Know? 💡

In this video, Rick Loewenstein and Yagnesh Vadgama share why this panel matters, and why our field needs more spaces where families and professionals can speak honestly, listen closely, and work toward better alignment.
