The cable accross us258 near Rollinwood has been replaced all splicing has been completed and all services should be restored. We appreciate your patience!

Outage update.
The damaged cable on 258 has been replaced and services restored to homes on US 258 and greenbriar and restabit rd. Unfortunately a second damaged cable has been discovered (which feeds Rollinwood dr) and because it crosses US 258 it will take additional traffic control to safely cross the road with new cable. We will be replacing that cable Monday morning and all services on Rollinwood should be restored by noon. We will provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience!

Outage update:
One section of cable has been replaced by our crew on US 258 splicing is in progress estimated time of restoration for homes on US 258, Greenbriar and restabit rd is now 3pm. An additional section was discovered damaged which feeds Rollinwood dr. This section will take us longer and we will provide updates as we get them

Outage notice:
We have had a few reports of service issues off of US 258. Technicians have tracked the issue to a cable damage on US 258 near greenbriar rd, Tarboro. A construction crew will be replacing that section tomorrow morning. We will update this notice as updates become available. Estimated time of restoration 7/5/26 at 1 PM

A tree on NC 258 came down during yesterday’s storm, taking down a main cable in crisp. Effecting parts of NC 258 and a good share of stallings rd. Crews are on site replacing cable. Estimated time of restoration 1pm. Thank you for your patience

Our crews have identified a damaged cable section on NC 258 north of Stallings rd. They will start replacing it shortly and restore services as soon as possible. We will update as updates become available. Estimated time of restoration is 5pm although it may be sooner.

A cable damage in the vicinity of NC256 and Stallings rd has created an outage in that area. Techs are in route, we have no estimated restoration time at the moment. We will update this post as we get more information. If your service is effected and you are in that area there is no need to report the issue as all lines in that area will be tested upon restoration.
