stem was built 6 years ago as a simple app that ended up becoming an ecosystem and continues to grow and change the lives of salon and spa owners. Our core application was built around “moments” and “micro-moments”. Our system allows salons/spas and their customers to manage these moment’s while being mobile, from mobile booking, social media, confirmations, digital consultations, reminders, push notifications, email marketing, to name a few. A new client’s journey starts before they come into the salon/spa, they might find you online or someone may have referred them to the salon/spa. Once the client engages with the salon/spa by booking an appointment the ecosystem goes into action. It starts by sending you a reminder about your upcoming appointment, the reminder has a link to download the salon’s/spa’s branded app. Once the new client walks into the salon/spa the ecosystem again will go into action, it will prompt the client to check-in and after the client checks in, it will prompt them for a refreshment of their choice on the salon’s/spa’s branded client app, simultaneously alerting the existing salon software system and service provider that the client has checked in. As a client waits for their service provider while filling out the SalonClouds digital intake form, the app will prompt them with retail specials, add-on services or a client can play a scratch-off game. These are just some of the features the SalonClouds ecosystem will perform. Technology is a part of our everyday lives from the time you wake up to the time you go to sleep. It is rapidly changing the consumer behavior from buying habits to daily tasks. It is important for the salon/spa industry to embrace technology and to find a partner to help them navigate the digital jungle.

One guy. Three iPads. Zero backup. That's our booth at the this week. 😅

Our team signed us up for a booth at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Then one by one everyone had "something come up":

Samantha Mason? Busy.
Dev team? Sprint.
Ed Nieves — our actual trade show guy who does this for a living? Literally in Puerto Rico right now posting beach selfies. 🏖️

So I did what any reasonable founder would do — I told our AI team to build me an AI-powered booth. 48 hours later, we have three iPads running a live AI assistant that knows every product we've ever built, an AI Readiness Quiz that scores your business, a full product explorer, and it even books demos while I'm mid-conversation with someone else.
