As the summer winds down and the semester begins next Monday, the Rowland School of Business would like to recap our 2026 Summer Camps, featuring our Accelerated Career Awareness Camp (ACAP), Point SPARK: Entrepreneurship Camp, and the Sports Business Camp. 🌟

Through career exploration in fields such as accounting, entrepreneurship, and sports business, students gained hands-on experience, networked, and discovered new possibilities for their future.

On the third day of the Rowland School of Business's ACAP Camp, students participated in several fun, career-related activities. πŸ“ŠπŸŒŸ

In the morning, our students and camp counselors took professional headshots thanks to Point Park photographer Paul Koontz.

In the afternoon, students traveled to Ernst & Young for a firm tour. While there, they had the opportunity to participate in mock interviews.

Finally, students attended a business etiquette dinner, which was attended by Point Park RSB faculty and some business professionals! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Last month, students in the Rowland School of Business's ACAP Camp had the opportunity to visit Huntington Bank in the Strip District! While there, they learned the ins and outs of marketing, including graphic design, physical collateral, and more. πŸŒŸπŸ“Š

Additionally, students enjoyed a β€œLunch and Learn” panel discussion featuring current Rowland School of Business students and alumni, most of whom were accounting majors. They were able to ask questions about their majors, coursework, and other college-related advice.

Last week, students, as part of the Rowland School of Business's ACAP Camp, had the opportunity to visit, tour, and learn about Sisterson & Co, whose beautiful building is located in downtown Pittsburgh! πŸŒŸπŸ“Š

Students were able to tour the main office, including conference rooms, offices, and communal areas. They also participated in speed networking with various employees, each with different roles and experiences. Finally, students attended a panel session featuring various employees, highlighting their roles, as well as high school and college tips, advice, and more.
