13 years ago, I dropped my first child off at Avalon Elementary. Convinced that we were living in our starter house and that Northgate was our starter school. And then Kindergarten went really well. And so did 1st grade and 2nd grade…and now we have two Flames – a Sophomore, and a Senior who just last week was accepted into the Penn State Graphic Design program.
Small size. Walkability. Accessibility. An attitude that embraces the notion that career success is defined in a myriad of ways. To students seeking an education infused with diversity of thought, background, and experiences, Northgate is the school district that ignites the possibilities of each individual. Down-to-earth, community-oriented, open-minded, and maybe a little quirky, Northgate is the little district that’s catching fire, and we deserve a brand identity that reflects that.
I’m proud of this school district and am honored to have worked together with the community and administration to develop our brand standards.

The Northgate School District is proud to unveil an updated set of district logos that will create a modern, unified identity throughout our school community.
The design and development of the suite of logos has been years in the making. Initial discussions began in 2019 and the process was accelerated this school year as part of our Strategic Plan. The District Board of Directors approved the logos during its Jan. 17 meeting.
The district would like to offer special thanks to Mrs. Amy Rajakovic for all of the professional work she donated to the district as our official graphic designer.
