An event like the Jewish Food Fest is VERY important to all of us who take food seriously (is there any other way to live?) which is why you want ALL the info to make it a week where all your food dreams come true!

That's why we're popping into your inbox to answer any questions you might have!

"So this Jewish Food Fest thing... is it just for the Jewish community?" The festival is open to everyone! In fact most of our attendees aren't from the Jewish community but enjoy experiencing the unique (and delicious!) dishes.

"Is there a cover charge, or can I save my cash for the good stuff?" Admission to the festival is totally free!

"If meat's not my thing, will I still leave with a happy stomach?"

Yes there are multiple vegan options marked on the menu so there's something for everyone.

"Where do I stash my ride?" The park has a parking lot right off Mulberry street, in addition there is street parking near the park.

"Is all the food kosher? Like, really kosher?" Yes! (Under the supervision of Chabad of the Abingtons)

"Cash or card? What's the deal?” Cash and all major credit cards are accepted.

"What if it rains on our parade?" The festival goes on rain or shine and there's plenty of tent seating to keep you dry.

"Is there a place to sit while I fress?" Yes! Plenty of seating for all.

“Bathrooms…?" Yes there are restrooms near the main concession

"What are other food lovers saying about this shindig?"

Here’s a few of dozens of messages we see….

We have attended the Jewish Food Fest for the last few years, and are never disappointed. From the corned beef sandwiches to Moroccan Burgers and falafel. You won't be sorry. They have the ordering process down to a science. It's a pleasurable experience.

Patrice Gasper

Our experiences have always been spectacular. The food is delicious, the staff is so very helpful, and the work that this event supports is so necessary. We wouldn't miss it.

G*i & Art Scaramuzzo

If you've got any other questions we missed (hey we might be better at cooking than writing emails) just reply and we'll answer you right away!

We can't wait to feed you and fress with you from June 29 - July 2!!

SHUT IT DOWN!
Many people leave their computer on for months at a time. This might be normal to the average user, but there are a few reasons why you really shouldn’t.
3 Reasons to Shut Down Your Computer Daily
If your computer runs any version of Microsoft Windows, updates typically download automatically. However, most updates require computers to be shut down and rebooted. Microsoft runs critical updates periodically, if not weekly. Critical updates are often done to ensure your computer is operating at it’s best. Updates also include “fixes” on the Internet Windows may have encountered. If you don’t shutdown your computer for a long period of time, it will get behind on critical updates. In addition, your computer will have to catch up on months of updates, causing your computer run slow until it’s caught up. Frequent shut-downs are also necessary to avoid static charge and dust buildup. In combination, both of these can be quite destructive to your computer system.

Frequent shut-downs are also necessary to avoid static charge and dust buildup. In combination, both of these can be quite destructive to your computer system.
Fans running constantly in your machine act as a sort of vacuum cleaner for dust. The fan pulls the dust it in, allowing it to settle on all of the internal components. When the dust particles rub against each other and mix with electricity flowing through circuits, the end result is causes a charge dust particles. When charges build up on particular spots on your motherboard, it can cause some really bizarre errors that are hard to trace. Worse, if enough charge builds up in certain areas, electrostatic discharges (ESD), “sparks”, can occur and ruin certain components in your computer. Memory modules are probably the most sensitive components affected by ESD. If your motherboard is destroyed, your computer won’t work.
If you suspect your computer has dust built up internally, bring it into Norm’s Computers and we will clean it up for you. Good computer maintenance should always include the internal parts too.
Computers use electricity, especially if it’s plugged in 24/7. Some people believe if they put their computer in “Sleep Mode” it’s not using power. This is FALSE. A computer on Sleep Mode is still running. Hence, still using electricity. Why pay for it using electricity if you don’t have too.
Let us help you keep your computer running smoothly! Call us or stop by!

Apologies in advance for the lengthy post.
You're looking at the inside of a desktop computer I built in 2018. It was high-end at the time, and in fact, it still works beautifully in 2025. But with Windows 10 nearing end of support, it fails Microsoft's compatibility test for Windows 11, saying its hardware doesn't meet the requirements. 🤔 Seriously?
Not enough memory? Hah! Tons of that. Out of date processor? Nope. Why then?
Here's where the scandal comes in. This gets geeky, but stick with me. The detailed test results say it lacks something called a "Trusted Platform Module" - or TPM - which is a requirement for Windows 11's security system. I wasn't so sure that was truly the case, and a few well-honed Google searches revealed that my motherboard does indeed include a TPM - disabled by default. This, it turns out, is very common with systems from just a few years ago. In the computer world, "disabled" equals "not present", so the system fails the check! In my case, I had to get into the system setup (BIOS), find the setting for the TPM, and change it to "enabled". Restart, and now it's fully compatible!
This is the reason for the vast majority of fails for Win11 readiness. Is Microsoft telling anyone about this? Not that I've seen, and many people are buying new computers for a completely bogus reason. If your 3-6 year old computer failed the Windows 11 test, find yourself a capable geek, or if you're good with such things, Google your computer model and "TPM" and you may find instructions for doing what I did. I had two computers that initially failed, and now they both pass with no issues. No money spent. Just a few minutes time.
