One month before their wedding, Shuan and Jack’s entire plan changed👇
“My father suffered a stroke and we threw out my carefully curated schedule… including finalizing our ceremony and writing our vows… so we could focus on my family.”
They’d planned to exchange private vows, but between hospital visits and emotional exhaustion, “we just ran out of time figuring out when we’d fit it in—or how the structure of the ceremony would go without our vows.”
With just 3 days left—and an officiant who had never officiated a wedding before—they turned to Provenance.
“It helped us figure out the flow, avoid sounding generic, and made it so we basically had our whole ceremony planned out in an hour.”
They incorporated a Unity Ceremony. They cried while writing their vows. Their guests told them their words were “some of the most precious and intimate they’ve ever heard.”
And most importantly, Shuan’s father was able to attend and witness it all. 💛
