Dear Pledgers and supporters of the Partner2Connect Digital Coalition,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Ecuador Partner2Connect Matchmaking Accelerator, taking place in person in Quito on 7 May 2026, from 09:00 to 13:00 (local time), followed by a networking lunch.

This interactive event is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society of Ecuador (MINTEL) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with the aim of accelerating partnerships that support universal and meaningful connectivity and sustainable digital transformation in Ecuador.

The session will bring together government representatives, private sector leaders, development partners, and members of the Partner2Connect community to discuss the country’s priorities for digital infrastructure and identify concrete opportunities for collaboration. The programme will feature the presentation of the Plan Nacional de Infraestructura Digital para Ecuador, insights from the ITU–IDB connectivity mapping initiative, and the regional Conexión Sur initiative, followed by interactive roundtables focused on solutions to advance connectivity deployment across the country.

This joint format reflects a coordinated effort to align national priorities, data-driven analysis, and partnership opportunities in a single dialogue, helping optimize resources and strengthen collaboration across institutions working to support Ecuador’s digital development.
