Some details you plan. Others you feel.

Phoebe and Paul's full Heirloom suite is a study in layers. Hand-painted drapery, marbled envelope liners, and stacked cards in coral and moss. But the finishing touch that ties it all together, quite literally, is that moss green velvet ribbon.

Wrapped by hand around every suite, the ribbon does more than hold the layers in place. It slows the moment down. It asks your guests to untie something beautiful before they ever read a word. That first touch of velvet against watercolor and marbled paper? That is your love story arriving in their hands.

Some couples ask for soft and romantic. This couple asked for candlelight and shadow, and we said absolutely.

Black invitation stock struck with gold foil. Edges torn by hand for a deckled finish. A deep green details card, a blood red rsvp, and a velvet belly band debossed on our pilot press. Claret envelopes lined in black, addressed in white ink, tied in black silk, and sealed in black wax.

Every layer of this suite was built to feel like the opening scene of their wedding day. Dark, rich, and completely them.

Some details you design. Others you get to help bring to life.

For Olivia and Benjamin's upcoming day, we layered the dinner menu over the bride's own watercolor artwork, a piece she painted herself, printed as the base of each place setting. Her painting peeks through a sheet of vellum printed with the evening's menu, and the two layers are joined with a single pearl brad at each end.

Each menu doubles as a place card, with every guest's name lettered across the top in script. Paired with es**rt cards finished with tassels, the whole setting feels like a keepsake guests get to take home.

The end of the night tells its own story.

Cake slices, a cigar, and our paper goods scattered across the linen, each one carrying the St. Louis Cathedral illustration.

We love a pristine flat lay as much as anyone, but there's something honest about this one. These are the details after they've been lived in. The napkin that caught a champagne toast. The matchbook a guest tucked into their pocket on the way out. Paper goods aren't just meant to be admired, they're meant to be part of the party.

Katea and Andrew, your celebration was pure New Orleans magic and we're so honored our work got to be in the middle of it all.

Can we be real for a minute?

2026 has been a whirlwind. The kind that leaves you a little breathless when you finally sit down and look back at it.

This year has stretched me. There were inquiries that went quiet without a word, and all the follow-up emails and admin hours that ghosting leaves behind. There were timelines that got misunderstood no matter as clearly as I explained them, and inboxes that never seemed to stop refilling. There was a hard drive that failed and took a piece of my sanity with it. There was a brand new machine in the studio (hi, Opal) with a learning curve that humbled me more than once. And there was Louisiana heat, pressing away in our garage through a summer that showed absolutely no mercy. Running a studio like this one is beautiful work, but it is work, and this year made sure I remembered that.

And still. Still.

I sit here with a production queue so full it makes my heart race in the best way. With new stationer friends who understand this weird, wonderful world of paper and presses and deadlines, who cheer for me like we've known each other for years. With clients who trust the process, reply with kindness, and make this work feel like a gift instead of a job. And with Jason, who didn't just support this dream from the sidelines. He's all in. Inking presses, managing production, standing beside me in every sense of the word.

The hard parts of this year taught me things. The sweet parts reminded me why I started.

And when I add it all up, gratitude wins. Every single time. For the full queue and the quiet inboxes. The dream clients and the difficult lessons. The whirlwind and the calm that follows it.

2026, you've been a lot. But you've been ours.
