There is something about a wax seal that makes an envelope feel like a secret worth keeping.

These custom monogram seals are one of my favorite details to add to a wedding suite. Pressed in antique gold, stamped by hand, and completely unique to the couple whose initials are woven into the design. No two love stories are the same, and no two monograms are either.

A few things to know if you're considering wax seals for your invitations: they do add weight to your envelope, which means your suite will likely require a non-machinable postage surcharge at the post office. It is a small thing to plan for, and absolutely worth it. Your guests will hold that envelope and feel the difference before they ever break the seal.

That moment of anticipation? That is the whole point of beautiful stationery.

✨ Custom wax seals are available as an add-on to your InvitoBella suite. Link in bio to start the conversation.

A little sneak peek at Olivia and Benjamin's suite, and I cannot wait to show you the rest.

Gold letterpress ink. Cotton paper. A watercolor painting of Central Park painted by the bride herself. Every detail in this suite was made with intention, and this reply card is no exception.

One thing I love about this one? The RSVP directs guests to a personal wedding website rather than a return card in the mail. It is such a beautiful way to blend the heirloom quality of letterpress with the ease of modern planning. Your guests still hold something precious. You still get your headcount without chasing down paper cards.

The best of both worlds, pressed into every piece.

Full reveal coming soon. 🀍

We have changed a lot since 2011.

We've acquired presses (and they have names.) The cotton paper has deckled edges. The foil is shinier.

But the heart of this studio has never changed. InvitoBella was built on the belief that the stationery a client holds in their hands should feel like the beginning of something extraordinary, and that belief shows up in everything we make, right down to the card we hand them at our very first meeting.

Before the gold foil, there's the copper.

These are the plates that live behind every foil-stamped piece that leaves this studio. Etched with intention, reversed in mirror image, and made to hold heat and pressure until something luminous transfers to the page. They are not pretty in a delicate way. They are pretty in the way that tools made with purpose always are.

The patina that builds on them over time is one of my favorite things. It means they've been used. It means something beautiful has been made.
Hot foil stamping is the process of pressing a heated die onto foil, bonding it to the paper in one deliberate, irreversible moment. No ink. No layering. Just light, caught in the surface of a page.

That's what these plates make possible.

This is the part nobody really sees.

After the last sheet comes off the press, there’s still so much love left to pour in. Inking up Bella for the mailing envelopes. Counting every single details card by hand. Folding tissue. Filling out the belly bands. Tucking everything into its box just so.

It’s the quiet work at the end of a suite, and honestly? It might be my favorite part. Because this is the moment your wedding stationery stops being a project and starts being yours.

Every InvitoBella order ships with a packaging document listing the item count, suite weight, and our postage recommendations, because we want the very last step to feel just as intentional as the first.

Your love story deserves that kind of care, all the way to the mailbox.

There is so much intention in a well-dressed envelope.

Before anyone reads a single word, they're holding something β€” feeling the weight of it, noticing the color, running a thumb across the stamps in the corner. And that moment? That's where vintage postage earns its place.

These aren't stamps pulled from a sheet at the post office. They're collected, sourced from estate sales, stamp dealers, and vintage shops, chosen for color, era, and the quiet little story each one tells. A penny-farthing bicycle. A blue jay mid-song. A Mary Cassatt painting. A peace bridge connecting two countries. Layered together, they become something curated and completely unrepeatable.

Here's what brides ask me most: Is it expensive? Honestly, it depends on what you find. Vintage stamps are priced by face value and rarity, and you'll need enough postage to meet current USPS rates, so most suites use a combination of stamps to hit that number. The sourcing takes time, which is part of what makes it feel so special. What you get in return is an envelope that no one throws away.

That's the whole point, isn't it?

There’s a quiet kind of magic in the details, the kind you don’t just see, but feel.

These custom drink menus were designed as an extension of the setting itself, with soft curves echoing the architecture, warm hues drawn from the florals, and a presence that invites guests to pause, sip, and take it all in.

More than paper, it becomes part of the atmosphere, woven into the light, the garden air, the gentle clink of glasses on a warm afternoon.

Thoughtfully designed, printed, and brought to life for a moment meant to be remembered.

The smallest detail, the loveliest surprise.

Our signature watercolor magnolias, tucked just inside the envelope. A quiet flourish your guests won't expect until the moment they slide a finger beneath the flap and find a garden waiting.

Envelope liners are one of those details that do so much more than they let on. They add a layer of artistry to your suite, a softness to the unveiling, a little extra weight in the hand that whispers this was made with care. They also protect the invitation itself, especially when paired with lighter or more translucent envelopes, keeping every detail hidden until the perfect moment of reveal.

A small gesture. A lasting impression. The kind of thoughtful touch that turns an invitation into an experience.
