Had a great stop at White Oak and ended up trying a pizza food truck that absolutely delivered.

Prohibition Pizza & Provisions might have made the best BBQ pizza I’ve ever had. The Prohibition, ham, pineapple, and barbecue, was loaded with flavor, and the sausage fennel and cheese pizza was just as good. The crust had a really nice finish with just the right char, and everything was seasoned really well.

Paired perfectly with a stout on my end, and Stacy went with a cherry spritzer that she loved.

If you catch these guys set up, it’s worth stopping. Great pizza, great pairing, and a solid way to wrap up the night.

Remember when the Rathbun building was a JC Penney?
Others remember it as the Encore Shoppe.
Now it’s Heart & Soul Thrift, and Pontiac has embraced it in a way that feels like it’s here to stay. ❤️

That’s the thing about this town.

The buildings stay.
The stories inside them evolve.

These spaces have held Pontiac Sports. 🏀
Another chapter was Hallmark. 💌
Different names. Different seasons. Same roots.

It’s never just about what a place was.
It’s about what it becomes, and the people who keep it going.

The sun's peeking out. The warmth is making its way back. ☀️🌿

And not sure about you… but this is the kind of weather that makes me want a park day.

Pontiac has some really good ones, but Chautauqua has always been one of my favorites. 🌳 Maybe it’s the extra shade on those warmer days or just the way those big trees make it feel a little tucked away from everything else.

It’s one of those quiet spots you’re just grateful we have. 🤍

So get out there. Take a walk. Sit for a bit. Let your kids run around… or go for a run yourself if you’re feeling ambitious. 😉

You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy the parks. And honestly, it’s easy to forget how good something is when it’s always been there. Don’t take it for granted. 🌿
