🟦 Windows 10 Support Ends Today — Here’s What You Can Do 🟦
Today marks the official end of support for Windows 10. But don’t panic — your computer won’t stop working overnight. You’ve basically got three main options:
1️⃣ Stick with Windows 10
You can keep using it for a while. Most browsers, antivirus, and apps will still support it for months or even years. Just know Microsoft isn’t patching security holes anymore, so the longer you stay, the higher the risk. Keep it locked down and consider limiting internet use if possible.
2️⃣ Switch to Linux 🐧
If you’ve got older hardware or want something free and secure, Linux is a great alternative. Beginner-friendly options like Linux Mint or Ubuntu look and feel similar to Windows, and cover everyday tasks like browsing, email, media, and documents. You can even test it from a USB stick before installing.
3️⃣ Migrate to Windows 11 🪟
If your PC is supported, upgrading is the simplest path forward — just use Windows Update. If it’s not supported, there are unofficial workarounds, but updates aren’t guaranteed and you’ll be on your own for support. Backup first if you go this route.
👉 Bottom line: You don’t have to rush, but you do need a plan. What’s your move?
