Gayatri Tambe-Deshpande is one of the fine artists from Pune, India I'm representing here in North America.

Her current series “A Walk in the Woods” is inspired by what many fellow artists and others in her community enjoy so much: walking the scenic trails around Pune.

“We are so blessed to be in a city surrounded by mountains, lovely nature and thick forests. Unknowingly, those influences started flowing on the canvas. I did not plan the series. It just came down and there was this Eureka moment when I realized this was something I’ve been experiencing. Even though there are no detailed figures or objects, the impressions can be felt through the textures, the colors and the compositions.”

These oil paintings are all of large scale, ranging from 36" x 36" to 60" x 84". Please inquire with any questions about Gayatri's amazing work.

Does anyone know what these are?

I live across the street from the old Mccormick Pier in old town, which is now an apartment complex.

A salvaged wall acts as the partition between the sidewalk and a parking lot. Along the length of are 25 of these cool industrial art pieces.

I'm assuming their salvaged from the old pier but I have no any idea what any of them are.

Anyway, spent some time taking a ton of photos of them, including some close up details.

Think they'll make a groovy digital collage series!
