Demand for cans went up as we consumed beer at home vs. in bars and restaurants during the height of Covid. Then it shifted to bottles as things started to open. These are just some of the supply chain shocks that are becoming more the rule than the exception.
Using technology innovation such as predictive analytics, AI, and data-driven insights has become increasingly important to help with demand planning and to minimize the impact of supply chain challenges. Going forward we have to continuously innovate as if we're always in a crisis.
