Trees and Papas are for huggin’.
The Trump Administration’s proposed return to clear cutting Oregon’s BLM-managed forests threatens the health of our drinking water, wildlife habitat, recreational and spiritual lands, and the last of our mature and old growth trees.
On May 1, 2026, during a “day of economic disruption” in the U.S., The Hof will be open; we ask that patrons use cash instead of credit. Small businesses pay a significant sum to credit card companies, about 3% plus .10 on each transaction, including gratuities.
Consider using May 1 to start using cash again in your daily lives. We will donate 10% of our cash sales from the Hof and the Goose on May 1 to Oregon Wild, Oregon’s oldest environmental non-profit which is fighting every day for our trees, streams, and wildlife.
