Impactful joint announcement from The City University of New York Chancellor Felix Matos Rodriguez and New York City Department of Education Chancellor David C. Banks launching a new college and career peer advising program benefitting thousands of New York City high school students made possible with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies. The City University of New York and NYC Public Schools today announced the launch of the CUNY College & Career Advising Fellows, a program to support New York City Public School students as they graduate high school and navigate the college and career planning process. Attend the free ClassLink Learning Analytics Summit starting this Thursday, October 6 and hear Ariela Friedman (Grouptrail Director of Strategy for Education and Community Development) and Pahola Capellan (City University of New York Director of College and Career Bridge for All at CUNY K16 Initiatives) speak on “Data: Not Just for Reports” at 3 pm EST.

In this session we'll learn how organizations are doing more than reporting with data—like using timely information to drive individualized interventions and maximizing their connections with participants. Looking at real examples of how districts are using Grouptrail to add additional dimensions to their programming, we'll see how, starting with rostering, you can create new tools that allow staff to connect with targeted groups of students and track progress across thousands of students.
