✨🙌🏼 We’re proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Flagstaff Music Festival!

Since 2003, the Flagstaff Music Festival has celebrated the incredible talent that makes up our local music scene, bringing Flagstaff bands together in the heart of downtown while helping strengthen music in our community.

🎻 This year’s festival will once again support an important mission: raising funds and awareness for the Haven Walker Music Scholarship Fund

Flagstaff has something special when it comes to music. With our mountain setting, creative community, local venues, and talented musicians, there is a real opportunity to continue building Flagstaff’s reputation as a musical destination alongside communities known for their music culture, like Austin and Telluride.

🌲🌲🌲

The annual festival on Heritage Square is about more than a great day of live music. It’s about supporting local musicians, bringing people together, introducing visitors to Flagstaff’s creative side, and helping the next generation continue making music.🤍

The Northern Arizona Times, The Flagstaff Times and The Prescott Times are super proud to support an event that celebrates local talent and gives back to the community.

Come out, support local music, support the Haven Walker Music Scholarship Fund, and experience some of the sounds that make Flagstaff such a special place.

📍Saturday, September 12th from Noon-10PM

We’ll see you at the Flagstaff Music Festival!

Federal Economic Injury Disaster Loans available to businesses impacted by Pocket Fire

Coconino County received a Declaration of Economic Injury from the Small Business Administration (SBA) which opens the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program to businesses impacted by the Pocket Fire.

The EIDL program provides 30-year loans with an interest rate as low as four percent. Principal and interest payments are not required in the first year of the loan to help businesses survive the loss of tourism. The program is available to all businesses in Coconino County and Yavapai County, as well as neighboring Gila, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave and Navajo counties, San Juan and Kane counties in Utah and Tribal Nations.

The County’s application process began with a sampling of impacted businesses filling out worksheets to show economic injury. This sampling of businesses reported a combined $743,000 in losses between June 19 and July 7, underscoring the Pocket Fire’s significant economic impacts to the area.

In person SBA assistance is available in two locations. Walk-ins are welcome, and in-person appointments can be scheduled in advance at appointment.sba.gov.
