Google was sued for violating the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), which requires companies to consent before collecting and storing biometric data.

The California attorney general is investigating several online retailers for CCPA non-compliance. The sweeping investigation, announced on Wednesday, is the first of its kind.
“If you are an online retailer and you’re collecting personal data from Californians, you need to protect it—and we will hold you accountable,” Attorney General Rob Bonta said in a statement.

Born in a small village in Ukraine, Jan experienced poverty firsthand from a very young age. The family survived on food stamps and government allowance, and Jan took up menial jobs to support his family.
During the time of the Cold War, when he escaped Ukraine and arrived in the US as a 16-year-old immigrant, things did not look hopeful.

He taught himself computer learning at 18. It was his drive towards life, and hard work led him to start a revolutionary messaging app that took privacy of communication between people seriously, and that was when Whatsapp was born.

The thing to take away from this is time is never constant, and it always changes. It's up to you to make it turn for better or worse.
