Please help spread the word, we're seeing an uptick in counterfeit & knock-off Lithium-Ion and Li-Poly batteries which pose a risk to consumer safety.

Purchase from a reputable business and avoid online "marketplace" websites.

If the OEM battery costs $130 and you see a "genuine compatible with your laptop" battery for $30 or even $50, it's probably too good to be true.

Scam De Jour. If you receive an e-mail like this, it's a scam.

The low life scam artists try to scare you into calling their toll-free number. When you call, they pretend to be PayPal and use high-pressure scare techniques to obtain your login and other sensitive information.

We tried calling on a recorded line to chat with these fine folks, but the number was shut down.
