December is here and so are the holidays! We love the holidays but we know they can be stressful. Especially for small business owners! Here are some things you can do to alleviate some of that stress:
Get Organized: Plan ahead, clean up your inbox, manage your workspace, and prep your staff.
Stay On Top of Your Supply: Look at last year’s sales and what your competitors are doing. Get in touch with your suppliers to ensure you have enough inventory ahead of time.
Set Reasonable Holiday Hours: Decide on reasonable holiday hours and let your customers know! Be sure to publish your hours in advance.
Automate What You Can: Schedule what you can in advance and let automation help you out. Automate any social posts, emails, etc. You’ll avoid any in-the-moment worry.
Take Some Time Off: Don’t overwork yourself. Schedule a break or time off in advance, Factor in any breaks, holiday events, and PTO into your schedule. Then, you can rest when you need to rest and work when you need to work.
Enjoy the Unique Holiday Spirit: The holidays only come once a year. Don’t forget to enjoy it :)
