HAPPY GIVING WEEK 👐🏼

Every year I like to celebrate my favorite season (and holiday) by propping up small business owners and giving THANKS!

This week is dedicated to supporting small business owners and uplifting our communities that might be struggling through a slower season.

If you’ve been here awhile, you know that I like to share a variety of local small businesses on my stories during the week of Thanksgiving. I truly want to help them gain more exposure in this season of shopping small, and it’s something I can easily do for free.

FIVE YEARS // 1,825 DAYS

Rocky Ridge Digital passed the 5 year mark on September 29th, and I want to talk about it!

2023 has been the most rewarding, and most challenging year as a business owner for me. At the beginning of this year, I was abruptly thrown into full time entrepreneurship. Which the idea had been my dream since I was 15, but the sudden change was unsettling.

I felt unprepared and as someone who plans everything down to the smallest detail, this. was. terrifying. 🫠

The good part of the story is coming, I promise.

The last few months I have branched out of my home office and connected with other female entrepreneurs that have gone through EXACTLY what I have - and honestly it has changed my entire outlook on my career and business as a whole.

I am incredibly proud to say I started this business 5 years ago, and even if things didn’t go as planned this year, I have been fully self employed and that is something to celebrate!

So I have a challenge for you. Take a second to step back, and revel in all that you have accomplished. Step out of the day to day stress for just 5 minutes, and just look at how far you have come!

You deserve it ✨

✨ Meet Dream Lashes & Skin LLC ✨

An amazing lash and skin studio located in Puyallup, WA!

I had the amazing opportunity to create a new custom website for Olgera, and truly showcase her expertise in the industry with a strategic layout and aesthetic design.

Her old website had been created and continually added to as her business grew and she expanded her experience. Eventually the site had over 20 pages, and needed a complete overhaul to reorganize the mass amount of information and create an easy to use experience for visitors.

We prioritized the education around eyelash extensions and advanced skincare, and were able to provide a lot of information in an easy to digest format. We really were able to position Dream Lashes & Skin as an industry leader in the area.

MEET THE NEW ROCKYRIDGEDIGITAL.COM 🖤

I am so excited to unveil the project that has been consuming me for the last 2 months! I think all creative entrepreneurs can relate to ignoring their own business to continue helping clients, but it was finally time to reinvest in my business.

Wix rolled out the new Wix Studio last month and I took this as an opportunity to learn all of the new tools and features, while refocusing my online strategy.

🏡 MEET NOEL ARGO - REAL ESTATE AGENT 🏡

Noel is a real estate agent serving the South Puget Sound under Keller Williams Mountains to Sound!

I had the opportunity to partner with Noel on this project, bringing her online presence to life and providing a dedicated place for her clients to work with her. This website boasts the same real estate search functionality that the larger companies do, but you can actually search local cities and properties from the click of one button!

This design was more complicated than most, working with the NWMLS and her brokerage to approve the listing functionality - but we did it! Noel is now 100% compliant AND she can show off the new properties coming to market immediately.

If you have a chance, go check it out! And if you need an agent, I can say that she really is one of the best on the Plateau 😊

A delectable dessert bakery located in Black Diamond, WA!

It was so great partnering with Gracene and Baylee to give the GCB website an updated look and feel. Another large part of this project was integrating their Square ordering system, simplifying the process for customers AND employees on the receiving end.

The best part about launching this new site; any updates they make in Square (adding new treats, changing prices, etc) will automatically update the website! 😍

✨ MEET OL' HITCHIN POST RANCH ✨

A beautiful rustic indoor / outdoor wedding venue located in rural hills of Buckley, WA!

I had the amazing opportunity to create a new custom website for this local family owned business. (And I actually got married here in 2022😍)

The old website was created at the very beginning of their journey, and hadn’t been updated since. And, the old site was only ONE PAGE! With all of the restoration and upgrades that have gone into their property, they desperately needed a facelift on the digital side.

James and Amanda now have the ability to connect with potential clients through the website, and show off some of the amazing events that have taken place over the years at their venue.

The best part about launching this new site; they had an inquiry within 30 minutes of the website being LIVE! 🤪
