Another shot of the gorgeous figure on this live edge black walnut shelf. Center knot has been casted with clear epoxy resin (this was a test piece for us, so it shows imperfections in the casting), however it’s so nice we turned it into a shelf with rustic brackets. Dimensions are approximately:

This was a test piece for us, trying different techniques with epoxy/resin casting, so it has some imperfections in the clear resin (small learning mistakes). However it is such a beautiful piece of live edge black walnut, we turned it into a shelf with rustic brackets.
