This Image is easily one of my favorite images I have ever taken. This is of the the Gillis W. Long Bridge in Alexandria, LA. A few years after this image was taken, I met a bartender who told me that she, 7 years previous, had jumped from a neighboring bridge into this very river in an attempt to end her life. When she was pulled to shore, her rescuers told her, the river was practically still when it should have been running heavily at that time. If it had been she would have been pulled down stream rapidly to her death. She now spends her free time delivering speeches about su***de and tries to lead others to Christ.

I haven’t posted in a minute. Not photos anyway. Life gets in the way sometimes. But I’ve been dragging the cameras around a lot and I have about 5 rolls waiting for a day I can spend several ours at the JOBO and scanning set up. Until then, enjoy.

The old C3 got a new paint job. I think it looks pretty classy.

I pulled this dinosaur down off its shelf today. I forgot what a cool looking camera it is. I almost put color film it in but… just didn’t feel right.
